The role of a Care and Support Professional at Atrium Recruitment Ltd involves providing personalized support to adults in residential, nursing, support, and clinical facilities. This includes assisting with daily living tasks, providing companionship, and addressing complex needs.

We are looking for individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional care and support, and who are committed to upholding the highest standards of professionalism and integrity. As a Care and Support Professional, your primary responsibility will be to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to promote the well-being and independence of service users.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-to-one support and supervision to service users
  • Aid individuals in need of assistance with daily living tasks
  • Promote independence in daily decisions and activities
  • Work collaboratively with team members to deliver high-quality care and support
  • Maintain accurate records of service user interactions and progress
  • Provide emotional support and practical assistance to service users
  • Establish trusting relationships with service users and their families
  • Advocate for service users' needs and rights
  • Respond to crisis situations and provide emergency support
  • Support service users in engaging with community resources and services
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of employment history in a care or support role
  • Minimum 6 months of experience working in the UK care sector
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A drive to learn and develop new skills and knowledge
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Remain calm under pressure and provide a high level of care and support
  • Empathy, patience, and a non-judgmental approach when working with service users
