Job Summary:

Voyage Care is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Residential Team Leader to join our team. As a key member of our care management team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to our care staff, ensuring that our residents receive the highest level of care and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Guidance: Provide leadership and guidance to our care staff, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality care and support to our residents.
  • Care Planning: Develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs and goals of each resident.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and support our care staff, providing regular feedback and coaching to ensure that they are meeting the needs of our residents.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor and evaluate the quality of care and support provided to our residents, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with our residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure that their needs are met and that they receive the highest level of care and support.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform administrative tasks such as maintaining accurate records, completing reports, and coordinating with other departments as needed.

Requirements:

  • Education: NVQ in Care and Management or equivalent
  • Experience: Experience working in a care management role, preferably in a residential care setting
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a commitment to providing high-quality care and support to our residents

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position, working 42 hours per week. You will be required to work a mix of on-rota and off-rota time, including weekends and bank holidays. You will also be required to work at multiple sites and locations as needed.
