The Facilities Operations team is tasked with the upkeep and management of our prestigious Head Office.

We are excited to present an opportunity for a Facilities Operations Manager to join our Estates team at our Head Office. This position is a fixed-term contract role designed to cover an extended absence. In this capacity, you will oversee the operational needs of the organization by managing maintenance and support services that ensure compliance with safety standards and enhance the overall employee experience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify potential issues and implement strategies to mitigate negative impacts.
- Coordinate and supervise maintenance tasks performed by team members, contractors, and suppliers, including managing permits and reviewing relevant risk assessments.
- Address reactive maintenance issues, ensuring timely resolutions for heating and cooling systems.
- Participate in on-call duties as required.

Essentials:
- Comprehensive knowledge of facilities management principles
- Strong understanding of Health and Safety regulations, supported by a relevant qualification
- Proven line management experience coupled with exceptional communication skills
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks, from minor maintenance to significant investment projects
- Previous experience in project management
- Self-motivated, capable of organizing and overseeing various maintenance activities while avoiding conflicts
- Proficient IT skills, including familiarity with spreadsheets and other software applications
Desirables:
- IWFM Qualification
- Relevant experience in maintenance management
- Knowledge of construction projects and related legislation
- Experience in budget management
- Familiarity with construction Health and Safety practices
- Previous experience with Duty Holder responsibilities
- Proficient in IT and supporting software, including SAP
- Project management qualification
