Primary Teaching Assistant - Graduate Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant to join our team at an outstanding primary school located near Crosby.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate with a passion for education to gain valuable classroom experience and support pupils in achieving their full potential.

The successful candidate will work closely with pupils who require additional support with work during lessons, as well as working with pupils with additional needs who may follow a bespoke curriculum throughout the day.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support pupils in 1:1 or small group scenarios to ensure they understand and engage with lesson content
  • Assist class teachers with the running of the classroom, including preparing resources and materials
  • Work closely with pupils with additional needs to provide essential support and promote inclusion
  • Engage in bespoke training opportunities to develop skills and knowledge
Requirements:
  • Graduate with a 2:1 or above in an Education, Psychology or core subject degree
  • Relevant classroom experience - welcomed but not essential
  • Genuine passion to support primary aged children, including those with special educational needs

This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, 32.5 hours per week, term-time only. The salary is £460-£480 per week.
