Job Overview

Role Objective

The purpose of this position is to oversee, as directed by the Senior Product Manager, specific offerings within the NS&I retail product suite, both strategically and tactically. This includes making informed recommendations regarding pricing structures, product characteristics, customer value propositions, and enhancements to ensure NS&I maintains a well-balanced portfolio that aligns with the objectives set by HM Treasury (HMT) and the evolving needs of consumers.

Candidate Profile

Required Experience

  • Proven experience in product management, including analytical pricing capabilities, within a regulated setting, ideally in the financial services sector.
  • A demonstrated history of successful delivery in large and intricate environments, showcasing the ability to execute key projects in line with managerial guidance.

Required Skills

  • Expertise in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong numerical aptitude, complemented by robust analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset.
  • Proficient in conveying analysis and concepts through clear and coherent verbal and written presentations.
  • Experience in developing digital propositions and enabling technology.

Compensation and Benefits

In addition to a competitive salary of £47,500, National Savings and Investments contributes £12,825 towards your membership in the Civil Service Defined Benefit Pension scheme.
