Your Responsibilities as a Cost Estimator will include:

· Understanding and adhering to company protocols

· Striving to meet or exceed budgetary goals by identifying opportunities and alternative methods for project execution

· Ensuring timely submission of valuations in line with contract stipulations and managing cash flow effectively

· Preparing monthly cost value reports that accurately reflect the current site status and profit forecasts

· Administering contract conditions and preparing necessary contractual notifications promptly

· Pricing and negotiating contract variations efficiently while maximizing entitlements

· Demonstrating a solid understanding of contracts during the preconstruction phase

· Timely procurement of supply chain orders that align with project scope and managing related valuations and payment notices

· Achieving prompt final account agreements with clients and suppliers while fostering strong working relationships

· Monitoring site progress through regular visits and collaboration with project management

· Assessing how project progress impacts overall costs

· Providing cost-related advice to influence project decisions

· Performing additional duties as reasonably requested by the Commercial Manager.

The above list is not exhaustive, and you may be required to undertake various tasks as needed to support the organization's objectives.

Key Competencies Required:

· Experience in industrial and groundwork projects is advantageous but not mandatory

· Familiarity with JCT contracts

· Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

· Experience in mentoring junior members of the commercial team

· Highly organized and detail-oriented
