Production and Logistics Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production and Logistics Assistant to join our team at Elite Recruitment Solutions.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced production and logistics environment, where you will be responsible for assisting with the processing and shipping of parts, as well as supporting the Logistics Operative with goods in, goods out, and stock control.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the processing and shipping of parts
  • Support the Logistics Operative with goods in, goods out, and stock control
  • Pick, pack, and dispatch sales and service orders
  • Load and unload vehicles and assign stock
  • Perform checks and inspections on tools, machinery, PPE, and other items
  • Report any shortages, delays, or issues with goods
  • Conduct audits and stock takes
  • Maintain a clean and tidy working environment
  • Adhere to Health and Safety regulations

Requirements:

  • Experience in lifting goods
  • Able to use a computer for inputting information and looking things up
  • Attention to detail, organization, and a methodical approach
  • Effective communication skills, both in person and over the phone
