Warehouse and Packing Operative Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse and Packing Operative to join our team at Adecco UK Limited. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials within our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Unloading and Loading Goods: You will be responsible for safely unloading and loading goods from vehicles and storing them in our warehouse.
  • Picking and Packing Products: You will select and pack products for delivery to our customers, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in your work.
  • Preparation of Items for Dispatch: You will prepare items for dispatch, including labeling, packaging, and quality checking.
  • Maintaining a Clean and Organised Working Environment: You will maintain a clean and organised working environment, adhering to health and safety standards and company policies.
  • Assisting with Stock Control and Inventory Management: You will assist with stock control and inventory management, ensuring accurate records and efficient stock rotation.
Requirements:
  • No Experience Required: We offer full training for this role, so no prior experience is necessary.
  • Previous Experience an Advantage: While not essential, previous experience in a warehouse or similar role would be beneficial.
  • Teamwork and Communication Skills: You will work well within a team and possess excellent communication skills to ensure effective collaboration and problem-solving.
  • Attention to Detail and Organisational Skills: You will demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and organisational skills to maintain accurate records and efficient workflows.
