Position:
LGV Test Centre Manager

Location:
Cramlington

Compensation:
£45,000 – £48,000

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week (07:00 – 16:00)

We are in search of a skilled LGV Test Centre Manager to become a vital part of our team in Cramlington.

In this role, you will report directly to the Logistics Director and be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of our testing facility and workshop.


Core Responsibilities:

Workshop Oversight:

Direct daily activities, ensuring optimal efficiency and productivity in the maintenance and repair of LGVs, PCVs, and Light Commercial Vehicles.


Growth & Sales Initiatives:
Propel business expansion through strategic development and effective sales strategies.

Financial Management:
Oversee budgets and manage costs to ensure financial effectiveness.

Safety Regulations:
Uphold strict health and safety protocols within the workshop environment.

Client Engagement:
Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, ensuring top-notch fleet maintenance services.

Workload Coordination:
Organize and schedule tasks, including management of the ATF lane.

Supplier Relations:
Engage with suppliers to negotiate favorable pricing on parts and services.

Billing Management:
Supervise and ensure the smooth operation of billing systems.

Qualifications & Skills:

Business Acumen:
Demonstrated success in business development and sales roles.

Leadership Experience:
Prior experience in managing a workshop, especially with LGVs, PCVs, and Light Commercial Vehicles.

Team Leadership:
Strong capabilities in leading and managing teams effectively.

Communication Proficiency:
Excellent organizational, prioritization, and communication skills.

Technical Skills:
Competent in IT, with the ability to manage billing and other digital systems.

Preferred Qualifications:
Category C or C&E driving license (preferred but not essential).
