Job Title: Deputy Nursery Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Nursery Manager to join our team at Willing Care. As a Deputy Nursery Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the overall management of our nursery, working closely with the Nursery Manager to create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for children and families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Nursery Manager to ensure seamless day-to-day operations, prioritizing high-quality care and education in accordance with the EYFS framework.
  • Mentor and lead nursery staff, providing guidance, motivation, and support to maintain exceptional standards of care and professionalism.
  • Efficiently manage resources and staff schedules to optimize nursery operations while upholding the highest levels of quality and service.
  • Cultivate strong, transparent communication and partnership with parents and carers to establish trust and support the developmental journey of children.
  • Contribute to the creation and implementation of nursery policies and procedures to craft a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children's growth and development.
  • Uphold an unwavering commitment to health and safety standards and safeguarding practices at all times, ensuring the well-being of all children and staff.
Requirements:
  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years or above.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a leadership role within a nursery setting to demonstrate sound leadership and operational proficiency.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the EYFS framework and robust knowledge of safeguarding practices.
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team to achieve their best while delivering outstanding outcomes.
