Senior Scrub Theatre Practitioner | Neuro/Cardio

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Scrub Theatre Practitioner to join our Theatre department at The Portland Hospital in London.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, where you'll have the chance to develop your skills and expertise in either Cardio or Neuro.

As a Senior Theatre Practitioner, you'll play a pivotal role in the surgical team, combining clinical expertise with leadership responsibilities to ensure the highest standards of patient care.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Providing hands-on support during surgeries, while mentoring and guiding junior staff to promote best practices and a collaborative team environment.
  2. Contributing to the development of a high-performing surgical team, focused on delivering successful outcomes in a high-pressure setting.
  3. Collaborating with colleagues to ensure seamless patient care, from pre-operative preparation to post-operative recovery.

Requirements:

We're looking for a candidate with:

  1. Current HCPC/NMC registration.
  2. At least 12 months of experience in Neuro or Cardiac Specialisms.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Self-motivation and the ability to motivate others.
