About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic unqualified EYFS Teaching Assistant to join our team in one of our nurseries in Leicester. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality childcare and education to young children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the lead teacher in planning and delivering engaging and interactive lessons for children aged 0-5 years.
  • Assist with the daily care and supervision of children, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Help to maintain a safe and healthy environment, adhering to safeguarding procedures and promoting positive behavior.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching methods and resources.
  • Contribute to the development of children's skills and abilities, including literacy, numeracy, and social skills.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 months' experience working in an EYFS setting.
  • A positive approach to child development, managing behavior, and being passionate about your area of expertise.
  • Current DBS checks registered to the update service (which we can support with).
