The Marketing Communications Specialist will play a vital role within a compact, collaborative team, contributing to various marketing strategies. This position entails assisting in the development and implementation of communication and marketing initiatives, including the creation of original content.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Design, revise, and disseminate marketing collateral, such as brochures, advertisements, and client communications.
- Compose and evaluate content to ensure it aligns with corporate standards and conveys effective messaging.
- Oversee electronic newsletters and provide guidance to teams on optimal distribution practices.
- Prepare and submit entries for industry accolades, while managing the awards timeline and outcomes.
- Serve as a brand representative, ensuring all materials comply with brand standards and collaborating with the creative services team.
- Generate engaging content and copy that reflects the brand's voice.
- Facilitate internal communications to keep employees updated on marketing initiatives and campaigns.
- Assist in managing the organization’s digital presence through website and intranet content.
Essential Qualifications:
- A minimum of 4 years' experience in a communications and content role, ideally within the financial sector.
- Familiarity with the financial industry, with prior experience in this area being beneficial.
- A keen interest in learning about mergers and acquisitions and financial advisory services.
- Proven track record in producing marketing and communications materials, including content creation and writing.
- Experience in managing website and intranet content.
Educational Background:
- Degree in business, marketing, or communications is preferred.
