Senior Facilities Manager

We are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to join our team in Wales. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for supporting and developing our facilities teams across the region, ensuring the delivery of excellent hard and soft facilities management.
Key Responsibilities- Work with facilities teams to support and develop them, embedding FM best practice and sharing skills and knowledge to deliver excellent hard and soft facilities management.
- Manage projects with associated budgets and work closely with property operations teams.
- Develop and implement planned maintenance and management programmes, including budget setting and management.
- Procure work from consultants and contractors, managing the process and writing client briefs and other project documentation.
- Work with listed and historic buildings, reviewing technical proposals for smaller repair and maintenance works.
- Experience as a Facilities Manager with relevant vocational experience or professional qualification.
- Comprehensive experience of technical, compliance, and risk management aspects of facilities management, including Health, Safety, and environmental regulations.
- Experience with risk assessments and procedures in relevant areas, such as emergency response, fire, security, and maintenance activities.
- Experience of developing and implementing planned maintenance and management programmes, including budget setting and management.
- Experience of priority identification and forward planning of larger repair and maintenance needs, such as boiler or roof replacement.
