About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Manager to join our team in Wales. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for supporting and developing our facilities teams across the region, ensuring that our properties are well-maintained and operated effectively and safely.

You will work closely with our building surveyors, operational risk business partners, contract managers, and climate and environment advisors to ensure that we can leverage maximum benefit from consistent ways of working without diluting the individual nature of each of our places.

As a Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for managing projects with associated budgets, working closely with property operations teams, and ensuring that our facilities are maintained to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and develop facilities teams across the region
  • Ensure that our properties are well-maintained and operated effectively and safely
  • Work closely with building surveyors, operational risk business partners, contract managers, and climate and environment advisors
  • Manage projects with associated budgets
  • Work closely with property operations teams
Requirements
  • Experience as a Facilities Manager with relevant vocational experience or professional qualification
  • Comprehensive experience of technical, compliance, and risk management aspects of facilities management
  • Experience with risk assessments and procedures in relevant areas such as emergency response, fire, security, and maintenance activities
  • Experience of developing and implementing planned maintenance and management programmes
  • Experience of priority identification and forward planning of larger repair and maintenance needs
  • Experience of procuring work from consultants and contractors and managing the process
