Job Description

Role Overview:

Teaching Personnel is seeking a reliable and organized Classroom Supervisor to join our team of education professionals. As a Classroom Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing classes in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring a productive and orderly environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage a classroom of students, maintaining a safe and respectful learning environment.
  • Deliver pre-prepared lessons and instructions provided by the absent teacher, adapting to the needs of students with varying abilities.
  • Support students with their learning, providing guidance and answering questions to promote academic success.
  • Maintain classroom discipline, adhering to the school's behavior policies and procedures.
  • Provide feedback to the school regarding student progress and behavior during your supervision, contributing to the development of effective teaching strategies.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, teachers, and school staff.
  • Confidence in managing a classroom and maintaining discipline, with a focus on creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Adaptability and flexibility, with the ability to handle a variety of subjects and age groups.
  • A genuine interest in education and a passion for supporting young people in their academic and personal development.
  • Experience in an educational setting is an advantage, but not essential.
