Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Recruitment Assistant to join our team at Positive Employment. As a key member of our recruitment team, you will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive customer-focused recruitment service, including the use of an e-recruitment platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process payroll input for new starters and handle all recruitment queries from recruiting managers in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Support the recruitment and selection process for schools and other partner agencies.
  • Prepare recruitment documentation, including adverts and candidate packs, to support recruiting managers.
  • Ensure the recruitment process meets its deadlines and complies with all relevant statutory requirements and Council policy and practice.
  • Handle all recruitment queries from candidates in a professional and timely manner.
  • Record and maintain all relevant documentation and records related to recruitment activity.
  • Provide Management Information on activity/trends on all recruitment.
  • Manage all pre-employment checks and process all new starter documentation in time for payroll input.
  • Ensure all new starters are provided with the information they need for their first day.
  • Liaise with resourcing partners and other agencies and organisations to ensure an effective recruitment process.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and organisational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You will also need to have a strong understanding of recruitment processes and procedures.

Please note that this role is inside scope of IR35 and hybrid working is available.
