Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Specialist to join our team at Galldris Group. As a key member of our HSE team, you will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our employees, clients, and contractors.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement effective health and safety policies and procedures to minimize risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor health and safety practices and provide guidance and support to employees and contractors.
- Investigate incidents and near-misses, and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
- Collaborate with project teams to develop and implement health and safety plans and risk assessments.
- Provide training and awareness programs to employees and contractors on health and safety best practices.
- Maintain accurate records of health and safety incidents, near-misses, and training programs.
- NEBOSH Qualification (General & Construction) or equivalent.
- IOSH Membership.
- Proven experience in health and safety management in a construction or civil engineering environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
