About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Support Specialist to join our team at NC Associates. As a Financial Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting the finance team with various tasks, including daily banking, accounts payable, and credit control.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily Banking
- Process online receipts and cheques
- Ensure companies daily banking exceptions are matched and interfaced
- Assist with bank reconciliation items
- Accounts Payable
- Input invoices
- Statement reconciliation's
- Bank reconciliations
- Credit Control
- Manage suspense accounts
- Reduce outstanding debtors balance
- Adhere to companies Credit Control Policy
- Chase payment using telephone/email
- Deal with and resolve queries
- Deal with and resolve cash allocation queries
- Issue statements and reminder letters
- Provide information to assist with the instructing of debt collection agencies
- Recommend action on recovery of problem debt
- Manage query resolution, chasing colleagues where required
- Monitor and report on aged debtors as and when required
Requirements
- Previous experience of working within a similar finance role with ideally experience within Credit Control
- A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- AAT Studier
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks accordingly
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and team members
- An enthusiastic, positive, and can-do approach to tasks
