Job Title: SEO Account Director

As a seasoned professional, you will lead a talented team and work with a diverse range of clients in the fashion and beauty space. Collaborating with the wider OP team and business, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional client experiences.

You will manage and mentor Managers and Execs, ensuring the teams function effectively and efficiently. This includes ensuring consistent SEO strategy implementation, collaborating with other channels to develop cross-channel strategies, and attending key client meetings and reviews.

You will also participate in and own new business pitches, develop the department by collaborating with other Account Directors and the Director of SEO to drive innovation and product development, and oversee resourcing and financing for your group.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Management & Mentoring
    • Ensure all teams are delivering audit, ideation, and outreach in a consistent and effective manner.
    • Appraise and conduct regular one-to-ones with direct reports (Team Leads) to ensure their development and knowledge base is improving.
    • Ensure direct reports are developing and mentoring their teams.
    • Ensure good attendance at important monthly and review meetings with client teams.
  • Strategy & Innovation
    • Work with other Group Leads and the Director of OP to develop strategic approaches to organic search deployment.
    • Continuously evolve strategies on accounts based on learnings from previous implementations.
    • Develop knowledge within the digital industry and share with peers how organic search is changing.
    • Ensure all accounts drive value to clients' businesses through continued optimisation and innovation.
  • New Business & Pitching
    • Participate in new business work when required and take ownership of assigned areas.
    • Work with the New Business representative and Director of OP to formulate commercial structures and FTE allocations.
  • Financial Responsibility
    • Ensure teams within your group track resource assigned to each account for profitability calculation.
    • Work with client leads to create resource/financial reports demonstrating profitability.
    • Monitor and control additional costs.
Requirements:
  • Mentor and add value to experienced individuals.
  • Financial experience in running teams and client accounts.
  • Excellent communication and written/spoken English skills.
  • Stakeholder management experience.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and numeracy understanding with emphasis on statistical data.
