About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Support Team Lead to join our Radiology department at Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust. In this vital role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a team of Clinical Support Workers (CSWs), ensuring they deliver high-quality patient care within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide effective leadership and mentorship to your team of CSWs, fostering a positive and supportive work culture.
  • Collaborate closely with the Lead Clinical Support Worker to ensure seamless service delivery across all areas of Radiology.
  • Oversee mandatory training, performance management, risk management, and role-specific training needs for your team.
  • Work in partnership with the Deputy Radiology Service Manager to identify opportunities for service improvement and development.
  • Maintain high standards of clinical practice within the team, ensuring compliance with all relevant guidelines and protocols.
  • Act as an authorized signatory for resource requisitions, financial payments, and other administrative tasks.
