Purpose of the Role:

The Environmental and Sustainability Executive will support the team in driving forward the company's sustainability agenda, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sustainability framework, incorporating environmental, social, and governance (ESG) considerations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability into business operations and decision-making processes.
  • Conduct environmental and social impact assessments, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies for mitigation.
  • Engage with stakeholders, including employees, customers, and suppliers, to promote sustainability awareness and drive behavior change.
  • Monitor and report on sustainability performance, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of sustainability principles and practices, with experience in developing and implementing sustainability strategies. A degree in a relevant field, such as environmental science or business administration, is required. Strong communication and project management skills are essential for success in this role.
