Housekeeping Operations Manager - Prestigious Hospitality Group
Salary: Up to £32,000 + Bonus + Private Medical + Exceptional Benefits

Our client, a well-known hospitality group, is seeking a highly skilled Housekeeping Operations Manager for one of their esteemed properties. This role is ideal for individuals with experience in branded hotel environments.

In this position, you will lead a team of proficient housekeepers while also engaging in hands-on housekeeping tasks. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular quality checks and ensuring that cleanliness standards are consistently upheld.

As a candidate, you should possess COSHH/NEBOSH certifications and demonstrate financial acumen, particularly in managing departmental P&L. This includes overseeing stock management and payroll, as well as creating and managing staff schedules.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a Housekeeping Manager in a high-volume branded hotel
  • Proven track record of managing a team of 5 or more housekeepers with diverse personalities
  • Strong understanding of departmental P&L management, including inventory and wage control
  • Commitment to maintaining the highest standards across all housekeeping operations
  • Ability to motivate and foster training and development within the housekeeping team
  • COSHH/NEBOSH training is preferred
  • Personable and engaging demeanor - enthusiastic, adaptable, and people-oriented
  • Excellent organizational skills, time management, and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across departments and with senior management
