About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Autism Support Assistant to join our team at EdEx - Education Recruitment. As an Autism Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with various Special Educational Needs in a dynamic and inclusive Primary School setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support to pupils with Autism, promoting their social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Collaborate with specialist teachers, therapists, and inclusion staff to create a tailored learning environment that meets the needs of all pupils.
  • Develop and implement creative activities and programs to engage pupils and promote their learning.
  • Work closely with the school's inclusion team to ensure that all pupils receive the support they need to succeed.
Requirements
  • A passion for working with children and young people with Special Educational Needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach.
  • Highly motivated and enthusiastic, with a commitment to delivering high-quality support to pupils.
