About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Design Engineer with a strong background in HVAC systems to join our team at Ernest Gordon Recruitment. As a Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in managing the design and engineering of piping systems, air conditioning, pools, and engineered packages for various projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out detailed design, calculations, and project drawings
  • Project planning, cost control, and daily management of allocated projects
  • Detailed design including design calculations, refrigeration system design, and fabrication design and specification of components
  • Creation, checking, and approval of documentation, drawings, data sheets, work packs, and user manuals
  • Selection of equipment and checking compliance with relevant specifications and requirements
  • Compiling Material Take Off spreadsheets for procurement of materials and components
  • Liaising with clients both during and post-project
Requirements
  • Design Engineering and Mechanical Engineering experience
  • Essential CAD experience
  • Knowledge of all components of HVAC systems
