Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Compliance Officer to join our team at Candriam. As a Junior Compliance Officer, you will play a key role in supporting our compliance team in ensuring that our firm operates in accordance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the prevention, detection, and mitigation of compliance, regulatory, and reputational risks across the firm.
  • Review and ensure compliance of marketing materials with commercial and marketing guidelines.
  • Participate in internal control missions, including testing and surveillance of the first line of defense, drafting final test reports, and presenting results to stakeholders.
  • Assist the UK Head of Compliance in managing a robust compliance framework for the UK branch.
  • Contribute to senior management reporting and regulatory authority reporting.
  • Participate in the Internal Control Coordination Committee.
  • Provide suggestions for improving and streamlining current compliance practices and methodologies.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Finance, Law, or Business Administration.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, internal control, or internal audit within the asset management industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Knowledge of main EU and/or UK regulations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to evolving regulatory requirements.
  • Respect of confidentiality.
  • Strong sense of responsibility and professional awareness.
