Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Engineer to join our Product Safety team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for facilitating the implementation of product safety processes and producing deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:- Implement product safety processes and produce deliverables.
- Support the management of hazards, risks, and associated mitigations.
- Develop safety arguments for inclusion in safety reports.
- Organize and facilitate HAZIDs and review meetings.
- Take responsibility for product safety assessment against major subsystems or key complex technologies.
- Experience in product safety management processes and techniques.
- Familiarity with report writing and developing safety arguments.
- Experience leading hazard identification meetings.
- Background in a highly regulated industry, such as Naval/Maritime.

About the Role:As a Principal Engineer in the Product Safety team, you will be reporting into the Product Safety Manager and will be involved in the Canadian River Class Destroyer programme. This is an exciting long-term global naval programme where you will work with international customers and stakeholders. You will have the opportunity to gain exposure across the business and potentially travel internationally.
