You will be working closely with our Partner in Charge of the Landlord and Tenant team, providing support and assistance with case handling, supervisory duties, and business development. Your role will involve acting for businesses, individuals, and financial institutions, with a focus on providing exceptional client service and achieving successful outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in dealing with landlord and tenant disputes, with a strong understanding of commercial and residential property law. You will be a team player with excellent communication skills, able to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Handling a caseload of complex leaseholder/freeholder disputes and commercial landlord & tenant dispute cases
  • Providing support to case handlers in the department
  • Assisting the Partner in Charge of the Landlord and Tenant team with supervisory duties
  • Contributing to business development and maintaining relationships with insurer clients
  • Meeting strict deadlines and complying with service standards

Requirements:

  • Significant experience in dealing with landlord and tenant disputes
  • Strong understanding of commercial and residential property law
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines and comply with service standards

Education:

Candidates will need to demonstrate significant experience in dealing with landlord and tenant disputes. Qualification as a solicitor, FCILEx, or Barrister would be beneficial but not essential.
