Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Rehabilitation Assistant to join our team at Circle Health Group. As a key member of our Physiotherapy team, you will play a vital role in supporting the rehabilitation of patients with musculoskeletal conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver the ESCAPE pain programme and other rehabilitation groups for Circle Integrated Care in Greenwich.
  • Liaise with physiotherapists, patients, and carers to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of orthopaedic and musculoskeletal conditions, as well as exercise principles and theories of exercise prescription and progression.
  • Manage stock levels and ordering of equipment, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
  • Accurately record patient progress and maintain up-to-date knowledge of clinical specialities through research and training.
  • Assist physiotherapists in the rehabilitation of patients, using delegated exercises within your level of competency.
  • Prioritize your workload as delegated by physiotherapists, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
Requirements
  • A minimum of an NVQ 2 Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex information to patients, carers, and staff.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in using software applications.
  • Organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage your workload effectively.
  • Experience working in a health and social care setting, with a strong understanding of rehabilitation principles and practices.
  • Relevant training and CPD, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
