Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Concept Artist to join our creative team at EDI Effetti Digitali Italiani. As a Concept Artist, you will be responsible for creating and developing conceptual artwork for our current projects, working closely with our supervisors and lead artists to bring our artistic vision to life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and design conceptual artwork for current projects, ensuring a high level of creativity and attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop the project's artistic vision, ensuring a cohesive and engaging visual style.
  • Communicate effectively with the team to meet client expectations and deliver high-quality results.
  • Research and gather reference materials to create realistic and convincing concepts.
  • Provide creative reference and model packages to support the project's development.
  • Prepare tests of proposed concepts to showcase to the VFX Supervisor and client, ensuring synchronization of matte work.
Requirements
  • Expertise in Photoshop, digital painting, and photo bashing.
  • Knowledge of 3D packages, such as Blender or Unreal, is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of lighting, color, and composition principles.
  • Understanding of perspective and parallax as they relate to a scene.
  • Familiarity with 3D modeling, animation, and cinematic principles.
  • Strong point of view with a variety of styles, both stylized and photoreal.
  • Ability to craft creative solutions to situations as they occur.
  • Calm under pressure and able to meet tight deadlines.
  • Explicit passion for the audiovisual industry, including films and TV series.
