Project Manager - Aerospace Manufacturing

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team at SAM Aerospace (NI) Ltd, a leading aerospace manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing engineering and a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage multiple projects within the aerospace manufacturing sector, ensuring timely delivery, scope, and budget.
  • Maintain close communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including engineering teams, suppliers, and customers.
  • Provide technical leadership in manufacturing engineering processes, ensuring production meets quality, efficiency, and compliance standards.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Provide regular updates on project status, including progress reports, risk assessments, and financial tracking.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within project teams to enhance efficiency, quality, and overall project performance.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager with a strong background in manufacturing engineering, ideally within the aerospace sector.
  • Deep understanding of aerospace products, including nacelles, engine mounts, aero-engine casings, and prismatic parts, with a strong foundation in manufacturing engineering principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, with a track record of delivering on time and within budget.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience managing relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
Location:

Must be based in or willing to stay away/relocate to Craigavon, Northern Ireland, and available for onsite work due to the nature of the role.
