Job Description

Job Title: Business Support Administrator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Business Support Administrator to join our team at Thames Water Utilities. As a Business Support Administrator, you will provide administrative support to the Oxford Production Team, assisting with operational tasks, raising purchase orders, and compiling spreadsheets/key reports for finance, H&S, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with operational tasks, including data interpretation and analysis.
  • Raise purchase orders for parts, equipment, and chemicals.
  • Compile spreadsheets/key reports for finance, H&S, and compliance.
  • Support the performance manager with the smooth running of the team.
  • Work with the facilities management contractor to raise and resolve issues identified by the wider team.
  • Support tracking and management of reservoir, water quality, and health and safety actions.
  • Monitor stock and chemical levels to maintain area and team resilience.
  • Ensure regular receipting is carried out for chemicals/fuel and monthly inventory management.
  • Assist performance and site managers with customer contacts to ensure we maintain a harmonious relationship with our customers.

Requirements:

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in using Company IT systems and Office software.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
