With the expansion of our services and the rise in passenger traffic, we are seeking dedicated individuals to enhance our Car Parks team at East Midlands Airport. We aim to attract exceptional talent to uphold our commitment to providing 'seamless travel' experiences for our customers. Ideal candidates will possess outstanding customer service abilities, a readiness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, and a genuine enthusiasm for vehicles. The successful applicant will collaborate with a seasoned team managing approximately 170,000 vehicle movements and overseeing 15,000 parking spaces.
In this dynamic position, your responsibilities will include:
- Safely maneuvering and parking a diverse range of vehicles, from compact cars to luxury models.
- Acting as the representative of our landside operations, engaging with passengers at car park entry points and sharing your extensive knowledge of the airport.
- Being the welcoming presence in our meet and greet office.
- Utilizing our car park reservation systems and specialized equipment.
- Demonstrating a commitment to working in all weather conditions to ensure a smooth travel experience at all times.
Key Qualifications for Success
The ideal candidate will be a cautious and skilled driver, holding a manual UK Driving License for a minimum of 2 years, with no more than 3 penalty points. Additionally, you should:
- Enjoy interacting with a diverse range of individuals, possess strong customer service skills, and be motivated to provide outstanding service to our clientele.
- Have basic computer proficiency, as experience with computer systems is essential for this role.
- Be adaptable and capable of working effectively outdoors, as we operate around the clock.
- Have a passion for automobiles – an appreciation for vehicles will enhance your ability to care for our customers' cars and ensure comfort while driving both manual and automatic vehicles.
