Job Summary:
Proclinical Staffing is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to oversee the maintenance and operation of our facilities and equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our utilities and equipment, as well as providing technical support to our teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the maintenance and operation of utilities and equipment, including troubleshooting and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that maintenance activities are performed in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), and safety procedures.
- Oversee outside vendors and contractors to ensure that work is performed and documented in compliance with cGMP policies and procedures.
- Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with quality standards, EH&S guidelines, and good maintenance practices.
- Promote a safe work culture by following site safety procedures, ensuring contractors are following safety requirements, and performing proactive safety assessments.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as engineering or a technical discipline.
- Proven experience in a biotechnology or pharmaceutical environment, preferably in a maintenance or facilities role.
- Deep knowledge of Microsoft Office and Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to record maintenance work activities.
- Knowledge of cGMP documentation, including facilities documentation and QA systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, flexibility, and technical writing skills.
