Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at YASA Limited. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for providing mechanical and electrical support on our hi-tech, automated assembly line.

Key Responsibilities
  • Repairing faults as the first point of contact for machine breakdowns.
  • Providing technical support to achieve production output standards.
  • Planning and executing proactive preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
  • Working from mechanical and electrical schematics to assist with fault-finding.
  • Advising on technical issues and liaising with engineers and the production team.
  • Monitoring machine performance.
Requirements
  • Qualification to 17th Edition level or equivalent, with a good knowledge of fault finding and repair in electrical and mechanical.
  • Proven previous experience working within a manufacturing environment.
  • Previous experience working as a Maintenance Engineer or Maintenance Technician.
  • Proven experience with PLCs, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, as well as robotics.
  • IT literacy and ability to navigate systems easily.
  • Organized and self-motivated with a safety awareness of electrical, compressed air, and pressurized systems.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Previous experience in an automotive environment.
  • Experience of working within an IATF16949 quality system environment.
