About the Role

The Cumbria County Council is seeking a Temporary Supervisor to join our team at Burnrigg Care Home in Carlisle. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the high-quality delivery of services to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service Delivery: Oversee the monitoring, delivery, and continuous improvement of services to meet high standards.
  • Staff Management: Manage the performance of staff, encouraging high standards, monitoring performance, and providing support.
  • Medication Administration: Administer treatments and prescribed medication in accordance with our policies and procedures.
  • Safeguarding: Safeguard the security and welfare of residents, ensuring compliance with our Safeguarding Policy and the Social Care Council Code of Practice.
  • Quality Assurance: Promote and demonstrate best practice in accordance with our quality assurance procedures, ensuring compliance with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and other regulatory bodies.
