Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Site Manager to oversee all facilities management services in Reading. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing both hard and soft services operations, ensuring the required standards are met and achieved according to the contract service level agreements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise all work carried out by subcontractors to ensure compliance with SFG20 standards.
- Deliver and manage small works, including planned moves, services, and project works.
- Act as a central conduit for the client and their external stakeholders, providing advice and consultation on various matters.
- Ensure the operational management of the FM delivery meets the required standards and contract service level agreements.
- Take responsibility for the management and supervision of all work carried out by subcontractors.
- Ensure the site is fully compliant with all statutory compliance processes and procedures.
- Operate to the highest possible standards in relation to H&S compliance at all times for own and building users welfare.
- Oversee the delivery of energy policy with regard to best practice facilities management.
- Support all energy performance measurement, monitoring, and management, in line with client ISO14001 requirements.
- Responsible for contributing to energy reduction targets at building level, reflective of strategic sustainability and carbon reduction targets.
- Upkeep records on the Computerised PPM System covering the service of plant and equipment.
Requirements:
- Demonstrable knowledge and substantial experience at a managerial level in the management and delivery of TFM services across a nationwide property portfolio.
- Recognise the importance of satisfying customers' needs and demonstrate the ability to successfully develop and manage the customer relationship and interface.
- Communicate effectively, consistently, openly, honestly, and in a responsive manner.
