We are seeking an experienced Senior HR Advisor to join our team at Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited, delivering a range of complex organisational change initiatives. This is a part-time role for 25 hours per week, preferably over 4 days, but flexible.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert advice and guidance on transformation and restructuring, including attending consultation meetings, answering questions, and advising on process and policy.
- Deliver complex and contentious information to senior managers, upwardly influencing, and managing expectations and risk.
- Present data and information at Senior Leadership meetings.
- Play a key role in the implementation of appropriate HR and OD interventions that support employee engagement and performance outcomes.
- As an experienced Senior HR Professional, you will work closely with the HR Business Partners to provide a trusted and professional service.
- Members of CIPD - post-grad level qualified or equivalent experience.
- Significant experience of advising managers in a large, complex organisation.
- Experience of researching and writing HR policies.
- Ability to undertake training needs analysis and develop HR workshops.
- Understanding of the principles of workforce planning and its contribution to organisational effectiveness.
- Experience of managing positive employee relations, including working with and negotiating with Trades Union representatives.
- Knowledge and experience of applying models and processes relating to change.
- Experience of interpreting and presenting HR data and information to enable effective decision-making.
- Ability to build effective working relationships with a range of voluntary, private, and public sector partners and stakeholders to deliver shared objectives.
- Ability to provide balanced professional HR advice and guidance to managers.
- Temporary contract basis, working via Hays until 31st March 2025.
- Part-Time - 25 hours, preferably over 4 days. The days worked can be negotiated.
- Hybrid working.
- Flexibility on when hours are worked throughout the day.
- PAYE - £37.33 / £38-42 Umbrella Company.
