Key Responsibilities of the Attendance Officer:

  • Oversee and monitor daily student attendance.
  • Collaborate with students, families, and educational staff to resolve attendance-related challenges.
  • Develop and implement initiatives aimed at boosting attendance rates.
  • Maintain precise records regarding student attendance and punctuality.
  • Compile and present attendance analytics to senior management.
  • Coordinate with external organizations when necessary to support student needs.
  • Ensure adherence to school policies and relevant legal standards.

Qualifications for the Attendance Officer:

  • Demonstrated experience in a role as an Attendance Officer or a related position.
  • Exceptional organizational and administrative capabilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • In-depth understanding of safeguarding and child protection protocols.
  • Competence in utilizing attendance management software.
