About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Process Improvement Engineer to join our team at PepsiCo. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for driving productivity improvements and ensuring the efficient operation of our manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Process Improvement & Problem Solving- Analyse performance reports to identify opportunities for improvement and develop strategies to reduce waste and inefficiencies.
- Collaborate with production teams and functional departments to identify and implement process improvements.
- Lead and facilitate problem-solving projects using lean methodologies, including Root Cause Analysis (RCA), SIPOC, and DMAIC.
- Develop and implement training programs to educate employees on process improvements and best practices.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of future productivity projects.
- Support the annual budget for the department area and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize productivity projects.
- Assist in the development of departmental capital plans to support business objectives.
- Coordinate and complete cost studies to identify capital requirements.
- Manage and lead operational projects using project plans.
- Support the R&D and Change Lead in the development of new product concepts and commercialization plans.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize commercial change initiatives.
- Support the commissioning process for new products and changes to standard settings.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong technical background, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams. You will also need to have a strong understanding of lean principles and experience with project management tools and methodologies.
