About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Practitioner to join our team in Edinburgh. As a Support Practitioner, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with various needs, including physical and/or learning disabilities, ongoing mental health issues, and autism.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing social support to individuals, including planning and attending outings to community clubs and leisure activities.
  • Administering and monitoring medication, as required.
  • Assisting individuals with personal care, including showering, bathing, dressing, and arranging visits with professionals.
  • Providing practical support, including encouraging daily household tasks and promoting independence.

We offer a comprehensive training program, including classroom-based sessions, e-learning, and the opportunity to shadow experienced Support Practitioners. You will also have the chance to achieve your SVQ Level 2 Health and Social Care in-house.
