Vetro Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and experienced Children's Home Registered Manager to lead a brand new, 1-bedded children's home in Huddersfield.

This exciting opportunity offers the chance to shape the development of a fresh service within an established residential care provider. You will play a pivotal role in creating a nurturing and supportive environment for children with Emotional Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and challenging behaviours.

Your Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with our team to ensure the successful launch of the new home, adhering to all regulatory requirements.
  • Build and lead a skilled and compassionate team of care staff, providing guidance, training, and support.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the children's home, ensuring a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment for each child.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each child in your care.
  • Manage referrals and ensure smooth transitions for new residents.
  • Champion safeguarding practices and respond effectively to any concerns raised.
  • Maintain meticulous records and documentation, ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and procedures.
Your Qualifications
  • NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management (or working towards it).
  • NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People.
  • Proven experience as a Deputy or Registered Manager within a children's residential care setting.
  • A valid driving licence.
Rewards

We offer a competitive salary of £40,000 per annum when managing one home, increasing to £60,000 upon dual registration. This is a full-time, permanent contract with Monday to Friday working hours and on-call duties.
