A fast-growing SME specializing in ironmongery/door hardware sales.

Role Overview:

A Business Development Manager & Sales Support Specialist role, working on penetrating into our top 15 identified target clients on sniper methodology - laser focused. This person would be full of energy, passion and drive with tenacity of purpose.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Opportunity Identification: Leverage ABI to identify and track new business opportunities. Focus particularly on Nursing Home & large commercial opportunities.
  • Director Visits: Arrange company visits for the Director with potential clients and other business prospects, ensuring schedules align and visits are productive.
  • CPD Bookings: Organise and schedule CPD sessions with architects and designers, promoting our products and services.
  • Tender Tracking: Run a tracker chasing down the team to ensure tender return dates are achieved and customer updated.
  • Follow-up: Regularly communicate with prospects and customers, ensuring all questions are answered promptly and accurately.
  • Customer Service: Handle customer inquiries, ensuring high-quality responses and resolution of issues in a timely manner.
  • HubSpot Management: Maintain and optimize the company's use of HubSpot, including data entry, reporting, and process management.
  • Sample Board Orders: Order and manage Ironmongery Sample Boards as required.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Previous experience in a sales support or customer service role.
  • Familiarity with the ironmongery industry would be advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency with CRM and ERP software, especially HubSpot.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • A keen eye for spotting business opportunities.
  • Able to work well as part of a team and independently.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with a variety of stakeholders.

Working Hours:

Full-time position Monday to Thursday 7am-4:30pm and Friday early 3:30pm finish
