The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Development Representative to join our growing team in London. As a Sales Development Representative, you will be at the forefront of the merchant acquisition drive, responsible for identifying potential customers, generating new business opportunities, and managing leads through the sales pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand our products and services and be able to articulate its functions, benefits, and value proposition.
  • Create a systematic, process-driven approach to identify potential customers and generate new business opportunities for the company.
  • Work closely with marketing on account list building, qualification, scoring, and prioritization.
  • Evaluate ICP fit and revenue potential Contact potential customers, set appointments, and follow up on leads.
  • Track progress towards meeting sales goals Collaborate with the commercial and revenue team to develop strategies for reaching sales targets.
  • Use Hubspot (CRM) to manage leads and sales activities.
  • Provide regular reports on sales activities and results to management, stay up-to-date on market trends, competition, and industry developments.

Requirements

Required Skills:

  • 2+ years of experience in sales Payments Industry experience preferred, but not essential.
  • Prior experience in a similar business development/sales role and a strong track record of success in building and maintaining relationships.
  • Time management and organizational skills Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g. Hubspot or similar).
  • Knowledge of sales techniques and strategies Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
