About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as a Director of Sustainability and Corporate Responsibility. As a key member of our Corporate Affairs department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our sustainability strategy nationwide.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive sustainability strategy that aligns with our business goals and objectives.
  2. Oversee the management of corporate social responsibility (CSR) key performance indicators (KPIs) and supplier performance data.
  3. Provide strategic counsel to our Board of Directors on CSR-related matters, including performance updates, risks, and opportunities.
  4. Identify and develop key sustainability programs to deliver against business goals and commitments.
  5. Act as a champion for sustainability across the organization, promoting a positive culture and best practices.
  6. Represent our company on sustainability positions at external events.
  7. Oversee the delivery of sustainability-related communication, both internally and externally.

Requirements

  1. Strong leadership skills with experience in building high-performing teams.
  2. Experience managing multiple projects concurrently, with tight deadlines.
  3. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
  4. Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to persuade and convince others.
  5. Flexibility to travel throughout the UK and internationally.
  6. German language skills are an asset.
