Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced CAD/EDA Manager to join our team at IC Resources. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for driving and overseeing design implementation and design support towards successful tape-outs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a diverse, multi-site EDA/CAD/PDK team, overseeing workload, schedules, and resource allocation.
  • Develop project environments, methodologies, and mixed-signal design flows for IC and System design engineers.
  • Train and support the development of design flows for multi-site engineering teams using industry-standard EDA software.
  • Identify and analyze problems, devise plans, and implement solutions to ensure project execution requirements are met.
  • Lead and work with teams across different geographical sites, fostering collaboration and effective communication.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in IC Design and/or EDA/CAD Engineering.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex information for team members.
  • Hands-on knowledge of industry-advanced tools and techniques, including EDA/CAD flows in Analog and Mixed-Signal and Digital designs.
  • Experience with data management tools, such as Cliosoft, GIT, or SVN.
  • Experience in EDA Tools Admin, including usage, installation, and licensing.
  • Proven technical leadership skills, with experience in managing teams or leading technical projects.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in leading and working with teams across different geographical sites.
