A leading multinational company is seeking a seasoned CAD Manager to oversee design implementation and support across multiple sites. As a key member of the IC Resources team, you will be responsible for driving design excellence and ensuring successful tape-outs.
You will join a team of innovative industry leaders working on high-quality, high-speed signal conditioning. Your role will involve managing a diverse EDA/CAD/PDK team, hiring, scheduling, upskilling, and mentoring team members. You will oversee workload management, project scheduling, resource allocation, and provide updates to internal management.
Key responsibilities include developing project environments, methodologies, and mixed-signal design flows for IC and system design engineers. You will also train and support the development of design flows for multi-site engineering teams using industry-standard EDA software such as Cadence, Mentor, Synopsys, and Cliosoft.
The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in IC Design and/or EDA/CAD Engineering. You will possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to distill complex information into a clear and concise format for team members. You will also have the ability to identify and analyze problems, devise plans, and implement solutions, with a deep understanding of project execution requirements.
Desirable skills and experience include:
- EDA/CAD flows in Analog and Mixed-Signal and Digital designs: frontend, backend, testability, validation, and verification methodologies
- Hands-on knowledge of industry-advanced tools and techniques
- Data Management tool for Analog, Digital, and Mixed-Signal projects (e.g., Cliosoft, GIT, SVN)
- Experience in EDA Tools Admin (usage, installation, licensing)
- Experience in leading and working with teams across different geographical sites
