Allen & York are partnering with one of the South East's busiest airports to recruit a Health and Safety Advisor to join their established Health and Safety Team.
This is a unique opportunity to be involved in a diverse and challenging environment, working closely with stakeholders across the site to ensure compliance and create strong working relationships to ensure safety remains a high priority.
As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for Health and Safety across a part of the airport associated with the commercial aspects of the organisation, including property, FM and retail.
Some of the key responsibilities will include:
- Working closely with stakeholders to ensure compliance and create strong working relationships
- Liaising with external authorities as required
- Creating and implementing effective Health and Safety strategies
- Conducting regular site visits and audits to ensure compliance
This is a busy role that will provide experience for any candidates wishing to broaden their horizons and work in a stimulating and diverse environment. Candidates will need a positive and proactive attitude to face challenges head on.
Based in Bedfordshire, candidates will need to be able to be on site, most likely, a minimum of 5 days a week with occasional hybrid working.
Candidates should have experience ideally in an FM or commercial property environment, but more importantly, is the right attitude and a positive outlook to utilise their existing experience in a diverse and complex environment.
It is expected that candidates are working towards a NEBOSH Diploma, but if you have your NEBOSH Certificate currently with a demonstrable track record working in a commercial setting, then this could be the next step for you in your career.
