Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Operative with LGV license to join our dynamic team at Ringway Jacobs. As a Highway Maintenance Operative, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to our customers by upholding the highest standards of maintenance across the highway network.
About the Role
- Pothole repair and carriageway defect reinstatements.
- Carriageway and footway patching and construction.
- Drainage works, including laying pipes, resetting ironwork and gully / access chamber construction.
- Kerbing works.
- Installation of road signs and other small civil works.
Requirements
- A current, valid driving license is essential, with LGV Class 2 entitlement highly desirable.
- New Roads and Streetworks or NHSS 12 training and qualifications would be highly beneficial.
- Experience in the use of handheld technology (PDAs, Smartphones, etc) would be advantageous but not essential.
- Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with customers both internally and externally.
- Knowledge of highways maintenance.
