Real Estate Finance Specialist

Role and ResponsibilitiesThe Real Estate Finance Core+ team is responsible for managing the monthly and quarterly NAV process for Blackstone's European Real Estate Core+ funds. As an Associate, you will be an integral member of this team, focusing on valuations and analytics. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Leading the monthly and quarterly valuation process and championing a world-class Fund Performance and Analytics framework for Blackstone's European Core+ Funds.
- Collaborating closely with Asset and Portfolio Management teams to prepare detailed financial models and valuation analyses.
- Coordinating with European Portfolio Management and Global Finance teams to ensure the accuracy and completeness of valuation analytics communicated to senior stakeholders and investors.
- Engaging with Blackstone portfolio companies to deliver comprehensive driver analysis for Net Debt of investments within the Core+ Funds.
- Supporting teams with ongoing portfolio analytics and ad-hoc modelling in relation to existing and new deals.
- Calculating fund level key performance metrics, such as shareholder returns, IRRs, Time-Weighted Returns, etc.
- Identifying and implementing operational innovations and enhancements to processes and driving implementation of technology initiatives.
- Participating in valuation automation projects and assisting in enhancing the group's reporting processes, procedures, and analytics.
Blackstone seeks to hire individuals who are highly analytical finance professionals, with a strong background in accounting or finance. Relevant financial services industry experience, such as Real Estate Funds, Banking, Investment Management, or Audit/Advisory, is a plus. A CFA qualification would be considered an advantage. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to stay focused and deliver on multiple concurrent workstreams.
